🧠 FAQ

Q: I hear something in my walls. Can I report this?
A: Yes, but first confirm it isn’t on your end.

Q: Where can I find Mayor Cray?
A: She often appears when needed. Sometimes even before.

Q: How do I report an item that keeps returning after being lost?
A: Repeating items must be surrendered at the Lost & Found office in a sealed container. Please do not speak to the item during transport.

Q: My neighbor has been standing in the same spot for several days. Should I be concerned?
A: Not unless they’ve begun humming. If they begin humming, contact Public Safety.

Q: Why can’t I find my house on Google Maps?
A: Certain parts of Playfair experience limited digital resolution. Try viewing the area in Street View, but do not pan too far to the left.

Q: I remember something that no one else does. What should I do?
A: Write it down, place it in a sealed envelope, and deliver it to the Town Historian’s Drop Box behind the municipal annex. Do not re-read it once written.

Q: What happens if I miss curfew?
A: Nothing official. That said, residents are advised to remain indoors between 8:30 PM and 6:00 AM for safety, clarity, and consistency of experience.

Q: Can I schedule a tour of the Wonder Joy Factory?
A: Tours are currently suspended pending further assessment. The viewing platform is open during daylight hours only.

Q: My child is drawing symbols I’ve never seen before. Is this normal?
A: Many children go through expressive phases. If the symbols begin repeating or appear outside your home, notify the school counselor and avoid direct tracing.

Q: There’s a man standing at the end of my street who doesn’t move or blink. What should I do?
A: This is only a concern if he appears closer when you look away. In that case, call Public Safety and remain indoors until sunrise.

If your inquiry involves reflections, fog, repeating buildings, or missing time, please contact the Public Safety Liaison directly.
